This synthesis report covers the assessment of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Ghana and Nigeria and their capacity to undertake conflict prevention and management functions. The overall assessment examined CSO conflict resolution capacity at three levels, that is, (a) the local community level, (b) around issues of a national scope, and (c) those conflicts that had a "crossborder" or subregional dimension.
